New Life Community Relief
Brief
NewLife Community Relief is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing hope and relief to individuals and families affected by housing insecurity, the rising cost of living, and homelessness. To support their mission, NLCR requires impactful printable design elements, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners and social media assets. These materials should raise awareness and engage community support through compelling graphics and narratives. The goal is to create visually appealing and informative pieces with the Logo and Brand Guidelines provided by NLCR.

NLCR flyer
Throughout the flyer graphic design project, the client was actively involved, providing valuable input to ensure the final product met their expectations. They made specific requests regarding the logo placement, limited colour palette for text and visual elements. They requested the logo icon to be prominent. They wanted to experiment the idea of using an alternative font for this particular flyer as a one-off.
I presented the flyer with the design specifications as requested by NLCR, however I also listed a few recommendations to ensure the flyer was more aligned with their branding guidelines.
NLCR were happy to accept a secondary draft with my recommendations to compare the two designs.
NLCR decided to go ahead with the second design as they agreed consistency across all printable deliverables is of high importance.
After confirmation, the design was delivered to NLCR for them to begin the printing process.
